The Whale AK1570 Mixer Valve Conversion Kit is essential for adapting Whale wastewater pumps—such as the Whale Switch Connect, Whale Automatic, and Whale Flow Connect—for use with mixer showers that have both hot and cold water feeds.
This kit includes an additional flow switch and a flow restrictor that helps regulate the shower flow, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing gulley suction noise. By installing the included flow reducer into the shower hose, you can seamlessly convert your system for use with mixer showers.
The flow rate through the pump can be increased from 8 liters per minute to 12 liters per minute by using 22mm pipework from the gulley to the pump inlet. For your convenience, the kit comes with 2x 22mm equal straight push-fit connectors.
